We upgraded from 6,000 to 12,000. Our New Bystronic ByStar 12,000 Fiber Laser has a maximum power output of 12,000 watts and a cutting table that can accommodate sheets up to 120″ in length and 60″ in width.
Most any material, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, can be cut with an accuracy of ±0.005″.
The maximum allowable sheet thickness will vary depending on the material and ranges from 1.18″ for aluminum to 1.18″ for carbon steel. Features such as holes, slots, and other custom patterns can be cut on preformed parts utilizing our 2D laser cutting and contouring capabilities.
Our laser cutting process includes lights out manufacturing capabilities. The cutting table is equipped with a new 19 position tower with automated material retrieval and parts storage, allowing for 24/7 operation without direct operator supervision. This automation lowers overhead costs and reduces manufacturing lead time. In addition to laser cutting, full CNC machining, precision sheet metal fabrication, finishing, value-added assembly and inspection services are available.
This is just another example of Decimal Engineering always pushing the envelope to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability to might the demands of their World Class customers!
See the difference from 6,000 to 12,000!!
