Decimal Engineering has a new employee, D.E.B.R.A. (Decimal Engineering Bending Robot Automation). D.E.B.R.A. is the Bystronic Xpert 40 Mobile Bending Robot.  She is capable of bending parts up to 40.5 inches and material thickness up to .75 inches.  D.E.B.R.A.’s bends one inch per second enables users to bend three times as many parts compared to slower, large-format press brakes. She can also run lights out and watched her weight, so she fits into 8-foot square feet!

This will allow Decimal the flexibility to maximize its workforce in its Forming department.  Also, in July Decimal is upgrading its Bystronic Laser.  D.E.B.R.A. will be heavily relied on with the increased demand.

This is just another example of Decimal Engineering always pushing the envelope to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability to might the demands of their World Class customers!
